Dramatics.

Activities in the Dramatic field have this year been and are being, especially lively, even for us with our long tradition of interest in acting. Last summer a new departure was made and an ambitious project undertaken in putting on, as the School Play, Shaw's "St. Joan."

The large cast obviously found the theme inspiring, and, in spite of the difficulty of some of the subject matter, under the capable direction of Miss Brook, they gave a performance which reached a really high standard, and was most moving in its simple sincerity.

D. G. DEFEW.
